The Pink Sith blog is a funny and unique look at the world of cosmetics, skincare, nail polish and almost everything beauty. I have an unhealthy obsession with Taupe eyeshadow, an excellent sense of humor and a great objective eye for what is good and what isn't so good in the products I review. I am passionate about beauty and passionate about making makeup reviews less "clinical" and more FUN! The Pink Sith blog launched in 2008 after I decided it was time to use my powers for good ...rather than for evil. I decided to share my funny and irreverent opinions on all things beauty. In 2010, The Pink Sith Blog tortured the hearts of readers with a series called "Taupes You Can't Have" a series dedicated to showcasing rare, hard to find, and discontinued taupe shadows. In 2011 The Pink Sith Blog did it again by starting a new series called "Blushes You Can't Have". In 2012 The Pink Sith Blog is featuring Highlighters You Can't Have. It's sure to be a fun, yet sadistic, journey. Also in 2012 The Pink Sith Blog was selected to be one of 8 blogs featured on the NeimanMarcus.com website, selecting items for the Neiman Marcus Beauty Awards.I was also a special guest of Lise Watier Cosmetics in Montreal and attended and covered the launch of the USA e-commerce website. The style of my writing can range anywhere from gushing over the latest taupe eyeshadow to a fairy tale story to describe a perfume. I try to maintain open and honest communication with the readers and I try to make reading a daily posts fun. I'm Pink Sith. A.K.A. Elvira. I love Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and general Geek centric books and entertainment. My love of Darth Vader from the Star Wars Trilogy (...yes. I said Trilogy. I'm pretending those other three movies never existed) lead to my blog name. For the unenlightened, Darth Vader is a member of The Sith Order. This is a sect of Force-sensitives (Usually former Jedi, but not always) who utilized the dark side of the Force. Pink is a girly color and That's how I came up with Pink Sith...besides Taupe Sith didn't have the right gravitas to it. Read more
